I thought the same...I think the guy from Awesome had got it wrong because when I spoke to Keith at APR he reconned he could supply the kit for approx £5k.
The exhaust is £1300 and HPFP is £400 (APR recon unit). As you say it's approx £1200 to fit so that is well under £12k.They say the car can comfortably run on stock internals with the kit.

I suspect the only parts needed are the intercooler. Will take the Edition to a whole new level but I still think it will need 4WD to do properly.

Can't wait to see Hurdy's motor complete and You tubing the strips....hope to see it at Combe for some track action.....I know how quick the APR car was lapping....1.16-1.17....immense....that's only a second off saloon car quali pace last year with the Evo's.
Pearl Black Edition 30 3 Door. DSG. (3rd Edition 30)
Maybe on the too do list: APR Stage 2+, KW Clubsports, Brakes, Diff.

Okay then, as you know Steve's Dyno at Statllers reads VERY conservatively and here are the results and a few bonus pics from the day....

3.3 to 60 on just about worn out tyres!!

Not a brilliant pic, but the torque curve is flat at 360lbft from 4000rpm to the cut off point.

Powwwerrrrr!!!

Flames...I haz flames!!

Great results Hurdy, amazing the amount of extra power and torque you can put through the mechanically standard block and gearbox.

Will you ever need uprated clutchpacks?

The torque is deliberately held back. On the L0400 turbo I was running 40lbft more and it was fine.

I cannot say how long the clutchpacks will last though. :driver:

Whilst the top level torque number is not that impressive, the rev range it holds it over is pretty epic. It must pull like an effing train.

Will you not be reving it higher than 7K?  The engine is fine to 7.5K or does the power tail off?

I'm still trying to work out if I should go .63 or .80 hotside.  My engine will rev to 8250 though.

Why have a dyno that knowing reads low? That is completely beyond me. Surly if you have a dyno you want it to be as accurate as possible, otherwise whats the point in it giving out figures.
