It's hilarious how the APR gang are all over you on FB, They are the most ridiculous bunch of people. I can't believe that people can't see they use more energy to smuther other companies and potential customers than attracting new customers in their shop  :stupid:

Over the top mod list ;o)

For those of us no longer on FB, please elaborate.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Moaning that the hub dyno people have not used the correct correction factor.  They are all getting a tad boring with their continuous slagging off.

But I do agree about the boost controller.

It is weird as it isn't running lean on VCDS logs. We live logged it at Statllers and it is on the rich side!

I love that torque line. It does need the sensitivity altering slightly looking at the results. Maybe I will look at reducing the sensitivity a little. :happy2:

Mine is the exact same. Been to three r.road days and always lean. Been logged on the road three times and always rich.

Stevie.

I tend to play along with the APR guys on FB. Then completely ignore what they say and do things my own way.

I haven't released any 1/4 mile times yet and it is going to stay that way until I get to the pod!

If I ran much richer I'd be able to ignite my exhaust fumes!  :signLOL: my lambda values are almost spot on 0.81 and go up to 0.82-0.83 at 7240rpm.

whats the prob with the boost controller? jw as i have been looking at eboost 2?

I actually prefer the boost controller to control power outputs. I have 4 settings which dials in anything from 400bhp to 540bhp........daren't use the high one too often. Day to day I use the 430bhp setting. The higher the setting, the less lag the car has too...bonus. Then there is still the option of doubling up on those settings by being able to use the GIAC switchloader to swap from pump to race, which dials in another four degrees of timing and can be run with 99 ron and WMI, race fuel or race fuel and WMI. So how many different outputs would that lot give me?

F**k knows what the 540bhp setting would give me on the race map with race fuel and WMI......probably an exploding engine!! LOL :rolleye:

It is a secret group called VAG Tuning. I don't have the ability to add a member though. Invite only!  :sad1:

Alex may be able to add you?
