On race fuel it will be pushing around 530-540bhp. I reckon close to the limit of a 4 injector system.

And the dsg will be ok all the way up there? Impressive :happy2:

Yeah, okay.......so far no issues at all. The new revision DSG map made the box feel more robust and there is no hint of slip.  :happy2:

Are you running the HPA gearbox software john?

GIAC.  :happy2:

Probably give that a miss then, might just go up to York raceway at Easter and she what she can do with a few bolt-ons. Pods 3hrs away for me and with no map on the car, wont be breaking any records.

York would be good. Although I'm working through Easter.  :sad1:

If you are planning on taking it on track the VBox can be used as a proper lap timer and if you download the data can also be used to show your lines on track.

Cheers Andrew. I'm at Statller usually a couple of times a week, so just give me a PM and I'm sure I can get down there.

We shall see how long the stock engine and box last. No signs of anything amiss so far. :happy2:

Sunglasses Ron did a very respectable 16.6seconds in his ed30 stage 2+ dsg.

And still holds the stock K04 record  :jumpmove: How sad am I?

Only just seen your Pod times John, didn't realise you were going before the Fast Show? Awesome times mate and with some magic juice and weight saving could get seriously close to the 10 sec bracket!!!  :surprised:

Yeah I should hopefully be there if someone finally brings a map out for the S3  :indifferent:

Still no news on software Rob? Are you not going to try when of the tuning boxes for the time being? I noticed APR say theirs will be available in the next few months, but I have not seen any figures or whether it's 'dealer safe' to a certain degree?
