I asked Awesome GTI to post me over a graph with the clutch torque on, rather than at the wheels. Here it is.  :happy2:

Id be gutted with 495Hp, your 5 short of the big 500 lol, id have been hosing down the IC to gain those few ponies lol

That torque plateau is ridiculous  :surprised:

Nice meeting you at Awesome Hurdy.

Amazing results on stock internals.

Do you know said about the R1R tyres, done you know what sort of mileage you get out of them roughly? Just I'm going to price a set up soon.

Hi, on a Fwd car as always it will depend on how you use them. If it is purely for fast road use then they will last 6k+ miles on the front. Significantly longer on the rear. If you hoon it everywhere then I have know people go through a set of fronts in under 4k miles. On a 4WD car they will last a little longer on the front due to less wheelspin and a little less on the rear due to them being powered every so often.  :happy2:

Well I just plan on the R1R's being trackday and summer tyres so 6k will be spot on.

Just another quick question are R1R's you have 88w because that's all I can find in 225/40/18? I've searched but can't find a lot of info on them, just people that say the load rate is wrong and shouldn't be used, but the way I see it is you have the 88w on your Golf R they will be fine on my soon to be stage 2 Leon.

Yes they are 88W. Not an issue as long as you keep them at the correct pressures....even on my hefty R.

It would have been around 520bhp and 480lbft before the new software I reckon! I reckon it is a solid 495bhp though and each horse is a shire horsepower!

The torque is superb, it just pulls like a train all the way to the 7450 redline every time.  :happy2:

You need a passenger ride Mike? it will blow you mind about the myth surrounding laggy BT conversions. remember once turned up on race fuel and race map this will make much more power and torque!!
