Chap in an ED30 had come back from the Nurburgring and had a new cam follower fitted before he went. He was on a 150bar fuel pressure map and came into Statller complaining of a flat spot in power. Steve looked at the follower and it had NO coating left and the follower was starting to dish!!! Another few k miles and it would have FOOKED his cam lobe up!
Don't know if it is just a weird one off, but like I said, for now I will be sticking with 135bar.
I had my cam follower swapped out last week and it was fine.
