Well, what a turnaround.

Decided to run the R today. Took it steady, or so I thought. Swapped to pump map and lower boost, plus a FULL tank of 99ron and ended up doing an 11.33@125.0

Car runs just fine.  :happy2:

Won the VW4WD class both days.
I've got a video of this run John. I'll try to get it on Facebook for you  :drinking:
That would be mint. Cheers.  :happy2:
Golf R gone.

Cheers Andy.

awesome car and awesome results john  :congrats:
bet your well proud :happy2:

Yes, I am very happy. Although I would have liked to have seen even more tuned cars down the strip. Only one or two TTRS and RS3 guys went down and didn't really have any big power ones run.

My mate rocked up in a stock C2S and ran consistent 12.2s. Your 11.3 shows a great deal of power,  do you think that's a fair time or it'd have done better like for like on the Pod?
Sideways yo!

It has already done an 11.08@124.55 at Santa Pod. It now has more power.

The launch 60' is quicker at the Pod as I can get flat 1.7. The best I managed today was a 1.8 and most were 1.9+.

One of the Marshall's at SCR mentioned that Santa Pod is quicker due to SCR being slightly uphill at the start and then flat. Santa Pod is flat and then slightly downhill.

That makes sense, I'd heard it was generally slower so an average of the two places is surely a fair time in anyone's books.

Facking fast.

Yes. :happy2:

Doesn't count in my eyes.... Any car that turns up on a trailer is null and void.  :happy2:
