Out of those, which clutch packs would you go for? I'd think about HPA so I can also get their big trubo and inlet upgrades as well.

I think steve jnr from Stattlers are using dodson clutch packs on his mk6R

Depends on your ultimate power/torque target.

If you are seeking 500+ lbft then go for HPA/HGP.
Up to 500lbft then Dodsons.

Well, I'm lead to believe that for up to stage 2+ (so around 360-380bhp), the stock setup will be able to cope well enough.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

GTI International, Saturday and bagged the VW4WD trophy.

Quickest time was 11.20 and fastest terminal was 126.03mph.

Full weight, spare in, suitcase in, laptop in, 3/4 tank of 99 Ron onboard and a big fat driver in the seat!

Good points...

New map saw a better terminal when the boost was dialled up for one run.
car runs creamy smooth.

Bad points...

New DSG map has a lower launch limit, which needs turning up to bring my 60' times back down under 1.85 seconds.
The new map is so good I am slipping the clutches even more!

On Sunday I ended up as the runner up in the VW4WD section as I did two lower boost runs early on (11.32@122) and then parked the R up to enjoy the day. Had lunch and decided to up the boost and get some lower times (with the settings I was on with my best run on Saturday) but sadly the weather had other ideas. :sad1:
Golf R gone.

Been tempted to try a run with everything out, including the back seats? See what the very limit of your engine can do?

The end of an era! Going for an S4 then?

Was a pleasure meeting you a few weeks ago at Statller by the way. (Red GTI 3dr in for dv, pcv and cam follower).

And the car is phenomenal. Never been in anything quite like it. It'll make someone very happy.
