Well you might not have made the 10s but at least you break the 200page mk5golfgti.co.uk record  :signLOL:

So S4 and a 'few' choice mods?  :driver:

LOL...200 pages!!

Yeah, S4 is my favourite at the moment. Just the pulley mod, intake and mapping gives over 440bhp on the dyno.  :happy2:

Sad to see this go, but hopefully someone with a similar mind and deep pockets will cherish it :D
Looking forward to seeing the S4!

Why not just buy the Rs4 , a year older maybe which will outdo the s4.. Didn't you do the same sort of idea with the Lexus?
Why not the R400 Golf out of the box and just enjoy it John?

A new RS4 would be out of my price range.

The R400 is an option.....if it happens. In the meantime an S4 is looking good.  :happy2:

I would have thought an RS3 with that 5pot would be right up your alley. Unless you're like me and don't really like the shape, I love the TTRS but don't think i could own a TT.

Wouldn't an R400 be a little, well, dull compared to your current Golf R?

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

I haven't read all 200 pages.....perhaps I should but haven acquired my first DSG Edition 30 (my previous two cars were both manual but mapped to stage 2 and stage 1) are DSG gearboxes up to the job on tuning.....particularly stage 2+ as I've come across a few people with the dreaded mechatronic failures.

I don't know much about DSG boxes but mine was services at 29k and is now on 41k but I'm deliberating whether to leave it OE as I already have a track car.

Was thinking about usual upgrades but it's a 6-8k investment to do the stage 2+ with KW's diff, brakes and sticky rubber for track excursions.

Your thoughts

Pearl Black Edition 30 3 Door. DSG. (3rd Edition 30)
Maybe on the too do list: APR Stage 2+, KW Clubsports, Brakes, Diff.

Stage 2+ and DSG on an ED30 is almost the perfect match. If your car is ok now then it should be ok at stage 2+.
