RNS510 with Fiscon Bluetooth and Galaxy S2 - PROBLEM
« on: August 15, 2012, 04:24:52 pm »
Here's the deal...........

I just had a Fiscon unit fitted to my Mk5 to link up with my new model LED RNS510.  Everything works beautifully, my Galaxy S2 pairs immediately and all of the steering wheel controls do what they should.  But it seems impossible to send my contacts to the RNS510.

When the pairing is initiated, a prompt appears on the S2 asking is I want to send my contacts - I click on yes, the prompt disappears but no list has been loaded onto the main unit.  I even loaded Android File Transfer onto the S2 to see if that could overcome the problem but still no luck.

I have the latest 4.04 operating system on the S2 and I was just wondering if there are any known compatability issues.

Try saving all the contacts to the sim card then retry.   :happy2:

I believe sgs2 not rasp compatible.
I found few useful posts how to pair android phones with factory Bluetooth.
You will need root (jailbreak) your phone, after install rasp installation app and rasp app from market.
