Well hello there
« on: August 17, 2012, 01:06:12 am »
Well hello there...

I'm thinking of changing my mk4 4Motion to a mk5 GTI of some description so I thought I'd pop along to this forums and do a bit of reading. I'm not yet sure whether I'm looking for a early standard GTI or can stretch to an Edition 30. But I'm quite taken by the Pirelli's so any opinions would be great :) Having owned many, many VW's I think I'll find it quite a wrench to sell the 4Mo after owning it for 8 years and 50k miles.

The two current loves of my life...

Hello and welcome, nice pair you have :happy2: If you can stretch to an Ed30 or Pirelli you certainly wont be disappointed, that said the std GTI is a cracking car. My first MK5 was a very well cared for GTI and was a great car with great spec. Now I have my Pirelli and I love it, I think the fact that its a very rare car adds to its attraction.
What ever you decide upon im sure you wont be disappointed, especially going from a MK4 which will feel so dated in comparison! :happy2:
