For me that should be a lot cheaper being a Cat D. Regardless of how light the damage may have been they are a lot more difficult to sell on. I'd only ever buy one if it was a steal, which that doesn't appear to be.

Do you really think it should be a hell of a lot cheaper? HPI check listed the value as £3600 auction and £4345 private, i would assume it had taken the Cat D into consideration?

I always base a cat d at the minimum of a third less than similar examples for sale. There's plenty of TT's around for 4k fella.  :happy2:

There was a lovely one over on golfgti the other week but can't seem to find it now!  :ashamed:

So around £2600. I know mods dont count for anything, so that seems to be why he is basing his car as being worth more. Which it isnt just cause it has a set of coilies and some cheap reps on.

Well, ended up getting a Lupo Sport TDI for Gemma and she is planning a few mods.

Just going to get a Mk2 in the spring. Got a shed load of stuff that needs doing to the T4 in the meantime. :)
