Droning noise
«
on:

When driving along today I noticed a slight droning noise that seemed to be in time as the acceleration? Maybe just me but think it sounded like coming from gear box. Any ideas? I know the mk5 engine is clattery etc but any other noises?

Wheel bearing? Unevenly worn tyres?

Pirelli on the front that prop need changing so might be it now you mention
Had wheel bearing noise before on other cars so don't think it's that.
It seems to be in line with acceleration so may well be tyres, will check!!!!!

Put rears to the front and see if it shuts up or moves to the back
