Sanj, can I ask where you got your xenons from?

I bought them from a member from these forum's for £450 and the Kufatec adaptor's were another £45. :happy2:

Damn I need to find some, there are some on pistonheads for £300 but not sure if that's too good to be true

They may be just for the housing's and may not contain the ballast's and igniter's,check before you buy.

I've messaged him and asked see what he says

I think as of this/next year they are tightening up on the auto-levelling/wash rules so I'd save yourself a headache and do the lot.. Obviously the first concern being oncoming traffic getting blinded!

Only blinded by people not setting the beam pattern properly, the oem xenon's once setup are perfect, people putting in HID kit's in halogen housing's are the one's with the light beam scattered all over the place and are a danger to other driver's!

Agreed but the auto-levelling system also serves to keep the correct beam pattern mostly on the ground, not in someone's rear view mirror or head on (dependant on incline/corners etc) I've attached the regs. http://www.sendspace.com/file/yyvd0n

Hope it helps OP  :happy2:

Just be aware that I have read of a few scammers selling parts on PH lately. Pretty sure Xenons were one of the parts they were using to suck people in.

Other than the way they communicate and how they ask you to pay. Make sure you pay through paypal and DO NOT gift the payment!

....You'll certainly be able to tell if you get stung.

Sometimes word will go out on the forums about specifically who to avoid.

....Listen out for a Nigerian accent!

Although apparently quite a lot 'Nigerian' scams originate from Israel.
