I love the TTRS. Would buy one in a heartbeat if it were affordable for me.

I have also taken the plunge with an rs3 in suzuka grey, which is why im trying to sell my edition 30. Think both the r and rs3 are great cars in very different ways. But for me the rs3 was more of a change compared with the golf r. Was afraid that id get bored of it quickly with the golf r and ive already experienced a remapped 2.0 ko4 turbo. The rs3 has great performance out of the box so wont need to do anything to it for a while. Just my 2p worth.

Does the RS3 use the same chassis as a regular 3 door S3? In size terms it looks kind of half way between a 5-door Golf and an A4 estate. Perhaps that's just the shape creating that illusion of increased size.

Essentially the same chassis with a few changes.

Wider track, light weight fenders, and 4th gen haldex differentiate it.

Needs a remap though

That can't be right. Surely a VW dealer wouldn't be interested in that. Plus the interior looks mint!!

Very tempted with the R now myself, I keep looking.  I think I also prefer the cloth interior to leather - maybe retrim it to some alcantara in the centre sections ...

135i would be fun but would I want to change it too soon - I think the R I would keep longer.

John ... PICS !!
