Not good. This is how I ended up doing the timing on mine a couple of weekends ago just because it wouldn't stop raining  :signLOL:

I did a bit of digging and there was a rubber grommet above the lock (can be seen on the pictures found in the link from doylebros, thanks) I removed this to expose a small red lever. Once pushed it locked the door and seems to have fixed the issue with all locking options, key fob, inside car. Feel a bit better now my car is locked again!

Good write up this handy fixing the lock. I ended up replacing the wiring harness too as locking wires were shot along with a few others.
