**HOW TO**: Door lock module replacement **Photos Fixed**
doylebros:
It's more than a little more - in the region of £100 more.
I've fitted plenty and have only one faulty one, which the supplier changed without any questions.
It's not a difficult job but easy to get wrong without using a how to guide.
My advice would be to have it scanned with VCDS and do some output testes to prove its the module and not the door wiring from the pillar.

Cheers I'll probably scan it and try to narrow it down first then

Did this Job today, all went smoothly. Just a little note to everyone else, when you 'pull the handle' after first loosening the T20-it may need a bit more of a firm pull than you think. Apart from that, great guide thanks Matto!

Looks like my passenger door module is starting to play up. When I try to open the door from the inside you can hear and feel something clicking but it won't open, is this similar to what you guys had? Certainly feels more mechanical than electrical anyway.
Also, is there anyone with VCDS in or around Glasgow that would be willing to scan my car for me? Will pay with beers!!

Anyone?
