Forum search will give you everything you need on Intakes, most on here will tell you either Forge Twintake or ITG/VWR Maxogen Maxi-price intake.

Reckon you will get the following

45% saying ITG (Sounds like Darth Vader but performs well)
45% saying twintake (slightly quieter than Vader but has shiny carbon for under bonnet Magpies)
10% other models Dbilis/K&N/AWE/etc (I have the sold in USA only Volant Powercore on my ED30), half the price of the most popular and gives very similar (if not same) results.

Good luck with which you decide on.

Have you got any other mods on the car?

Remap maybe? Just an induction kit on its own wont make much difference.

However if you do go for one i belive either the Forge twintake or the ITG maxogen are the ones to go for. Forge one provides some eyecandy too

I haven't had a remap as of yet but both these mods will be coming soon.

Thanks for your help

And sub39h isn't the only one to have that opinion about the BSH.

I'm not at all trying to sell you on the idea of getting a Forge Twintake - There are others just as good - But you may find some helpful information in your choice in reading my review thread (and other reviews in the Product Reviews section):

I've had the Twintake and currently running an Evoms. On my car (KO4), the Twintake didn't make very good gains, was advised to try a different intake, went for the Evoms and am much happier with it, much better results. However, my bf has the Twintake on his GTI (KO3) and that gained about 16-17bhp, so based on my experience I'd recommend the Twintake for GTI's but not so much Ed30s etc. Might just be my car though that didn't take to it... :happy2:
