Alloy wheel refurb
« on: August 23, 2012, 04:01:50 pm »
Afternoon guys

Not GTi related, but the community here is far more helpful than on the BMW forums.

I'm looking at getting the MV3 alloys on my 330i done in ferric grey and would be keen to hear recommendations for refurb places in the North West. I'm on the Wirral, so anything around Liverpool/Chester would be preferable unless there's somewhere further afield worth travelling to.

Wheels themselves are in good condition, few minor scuffs. Also considering getting the hubs and calipers done at the same time to freshen them up.

Cheers

P.S. all part of my plan to stave off the urge to chop it in and get another GTi

the community here is far more helpful than on the BMW forums.

Care to elaborate? I find it hard to believe people on a forum would be unhelpful, I mean the whole point is to be helpful.

This is the only forum I use so I have no experience of others, good or bad.

Cheers guys.

As for helpfulness, probably more of a case of here being more of us in the golf community with a bigger pool of knowledge.

The BMW community just doesn't seem as active.
