are we sure it actually has a lambo engine? or that it's been reported as such because the press doesn't know anything about cars?

.
There's so much wrong with how that story has been reported:

- "Perfect handbrake stunt" was very very far from perfect and didn't even look like a handbrake turn at all.

- Saw 85 mph on the Police camera in the built-up area but not 185 mph. But I don't doubt he high speeded on the dual carriageway section as filmed by the helicopter.

- If the guy could afford to put a Lambo engine in a RS5 then would he be stealing from a shop - It didn't look like he was stealing goods of especially high value.

- I expect the RS5 was stolen but that hasn't been included by the 'reporter'.

- Just because Lamborghini are part of VAG doesn't mean that all VAG cars such as Audi's have Lambo engines!

This 'reporter' isn't a press professional by the looks of things. But many of the press are rarely very professional anyway.

Why is this report about his 180mph antics? The real crime here is he was a robbing ****, turning people's houses over. The getaway was inconsequential to this.

Given the rather rubbish choice of my car being hit by another car while my family is it and having some stuff taken from my house. I'd much rather the latter I can always get more stuff. I'm not sure I'd walk away from 110 mph speed difference crash. If you've seen the 100 mph+ crash into a wall the car just disappears.

i havnt read the full story but i think 9 years is very harsh

especially when someone who has just killed 77 people has just recieved 21 years

No, I've obviously not made myself clear there.

He got 9 years for burgling people's houses. He was a serial thief. All the press seem to be focussing on however is the 180mph blat down the M6, which probably in isolation would only have netted him a long ban and a big fine.

He's a **** yet seems to be gathering some Internet hero points because all people are reading is he drove a getaway car fast. Ignoring the misery he's enflicted on people for years.
Sideways yo!

it was the maximum sentence. although unlike this country he will actaully do 21 years

There does not appear to be any evidence that the 185mph was ever done , is there ?
