They don't stay on piston heads long do they?

What does a stage one take them to?

Great track car straight out the box, was at Donnington with Ross in his, had to let him pass, he was kickin my arse on the twisty bits, got him back on the straights though  :happy2:

cheers for the brilliant response,

wish my girlfriends would have been the same hahaha

yeah fresh out the box they are truely amazing cars,

my plan is to track it a couple of times then start modifying it.

On the mod front i plan to put an uprated panel filter on it with a bigger air intake, a forge or Ktec front mount intercooler then just a stage 1 remap. That should see me at around 270-280 bhp and around 300 ft/lb of torque, i dont want to go silly with power as i do not want to comprimise the setup of the car

the blocks go bang at around 320 bhp and to achieve anything over 300 you need a hybrid turbo. I will be using RS tuning to tune the car as they are very local, the owner has an R26R running 511bhp!!!!!!!

hopefully see some of you out on track very soon, i'll be keeping a look out for when people are going.

cheers again

280hp in a R26R would put you at a higher bhp/ton than a Ed30 Stage 2+ as well, so not only could you spank em on the straights, you'll annihilate them though the bends

Sounds like it's going to be an absolute weapon, and I think you're doing the right thing power-wise. Keep it lean and mean!

Yeah it's Stella Neil..other half John you know who had the Black Rocco R....

Met them last year at Bedord during a track outing. Great couple had a good mingle with them. Just funny hearing John egging Stella on from the pits to overtake people!

Impressive list of cars they've owned too! Didn't realise her daily is a 911 Turbo though!  :notworthy:

RS Tuning deffo for the remap but I very much doubt you will see those figures from a Stage 1.   270bhp+ is Stage 2 power,  your more likely to see 260bhp and 270ft/lbs from a Stage 1.

Stage 1 Hybrid can do 300bhp with your planned cooler and intake + exhaust or decat too, but keeps the torque down.  Stage 2 on the stock turbo gives around 320lbs torque which can cause problems.............Bang !

Lovely car, mate. Always wondered what these would be like.
Like the normal R26s too.

Can I offer a suggestion??

Leave it alone. Don't map it, don't mess with the suspension - just enjoy it for what it is.  :happy2:
Sideways yo!
