picked up a second set of alloys on sunday

i will get the Michelin rally tarmac slicks taken off and sold then get my AD08's on them for track days

What sort of power was your Gti and how does the Renault feel in comparison? Power & 'pull' wise not chassis / handling

The gti was running around 270hbhp and over 350ft/lb torque, the gti was deffo quicker than the megane right now not by alot but it is noticable

hopefully a remap will sort that, a remap will push it to around 265bhp but only about 290 ft/lb of torque, stage 2 meganes are restricted to 300ft/lb by RS tuning due to the major risk of bending rods over 300ft/lb

i dont think they do tbh, the spec of these are 8 x 18, stud fitment 5 x 108, et 66

chilling at the girlfriends during xmas and new year, she hates it so i never had to drive

real winner lol

so i test fitted two of my red alloys today, take a look, i think they look great, will be used more for track/summer time. at least one needs a refurb.

undecided as to sell the tyres or keep them for track days

I think the tyres give it an extra mean track look with the white touch in truth. The Michelins must be pretty effective too?

I was looking at a 225 with Cup pack before I bought the GTI actually. Glad I didn't as I'd of just ended up wanting one of these...

yeah they do indeed, i havnt used them, i was just fitting them to see what they looked like. I really need to get this on track to appreciate it fully

Those wheels look superb I've got a set of Pirelli compound slicks like these for track days and I think they're great (although good luck in the wet ). I got mine in a medium compound and they do get very sticky once hot and hence wear a bit, maybe I shoulda got a hard compound? Do you know what yours are? Whatever you do that thing is gonna fly around a circuit!
