Yup!  :happy2:

As a comparison look how balanced the car looks when both wheels are on the concrete:

Oh... and, you might know this, if you accelerate in the Karusell, it will throw you out:

Hope this helps!

Car looks spot on, the little Alfa looks like it was tonking along.

yeah I didn't really notice him at the time but the way the pics are looks like he's giving it some, I may have got the karrusell and the other one the wrong way round

Very nice! The Ring is the place where your car belongs!
Was this you first time around the Ring?

One thing about the lines at the Karusell... most people (race drivers) say that both wheels should be on the concrete.

yeah ive got my line completely wrong on that one lap, shame the pics in there are all from the same lap, I usually am like you have said

it was my second time there, ive now done a total of 12 laps there

Love this car, so nice to see it being used and not wrapped in cotton wool. How are you finding the AD08s??

Echo Rex, you're way too low in there, puts massive lateral load on the outside front. One of the few 'don'ts' that was hammered into me, I'm still working on the 'doos'  :happy2:

In contrast, you heavily cut the mini karusell, as you can see me doing here.

yeah I agree my line was all wrong on that one lap, yeah the car was built to be used not to be sat at home in a garage

saying that though since ive been back its been cleaned and not moved since lol

Yup!  :happy2:

Hope this helps!

yeah cheers, your car looks at home at the ring, the karusell takes no prisoners

sweat ride that mate

cheers  :happy2:

Not bad!  :happy2: I like the way you drive...
I always think that comments (either good or bad, right or wrong) are beneficial but if don't think that's the case or I am mistaking, please stop me :).
1. The camera angle is quite good, too bad the rear view mirror is quite in the center
2. on some occasions (like Flugplatz) you seem to enter the corner too soon...
3. what tires did you have?
4. there was quite a few traffic but I think the Yellow Seat slowed you down more than the recovery truck or the bike crash (because you were slowed down by that Seat even I have a higher top speed in that section and I have a 160bhp, heavier car).
5. I liked the fact that you were more aggressive when following the BMW.

Looking forward to seeing some more videos (maybe low 8' after you complete a few hundred laps)!

Yeah I agree, I have only ever been around the ring myself and I haven't done any passenger laps so any advice/pointers are always useful, I have also only ever done 1 track day in the car so it is all still pretty new to me in reality.

im running ad08 tyres.
yeah a couple have people have said about the seat as well that I have shown the video to.
I much prefer to follow someone like the bmw as it helps you round, I had seen that the bmw had done quite a few laps and did know the track quite well (better than me) so I was quite happy to sit behind him and look at his lines etc.
I am looking forward to cracking 9 minutes and then learning the track, my next trip I will do a few laps in friends cars and also get them to come out with me to help pass their knowledge on

cheers for the comments  :happy2:

cheers, yeah he helped me in the areas of the track I was unsure about

bought a silicone induction hose last night and picked it up

will fit this along with my modified air box I forgot I had, should help the car breath a little better

Yellow r26r? Very rare

I only know of one liquid yellow R26.R and it doesn't have the cage in it, just the rear strut brace

would be surprised if its an R26.R more than likely just an R26

Got asked to do a mini shoot for the paper for a local show yesterday to help promote it, there were some nice cars there

It was for Fueled Society at Nostel Priory 13-14th July, I went last year when I had just picked the car up and it was a really nice, chilled out show with some good cars

here's some of my pics from it

cheers
