Sister in Law is looking for a two bay NAS to replace her failed World Book

Must be able to:
Time Machine back up
iTunes Server
Accessible over a network and be able to drag and drop files to it.
Torrent
FTP
Raid

Narrowed it down to two options

Synology is more user friendly with a strong user support but QNAP appears to be better put together.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I completely missed the thread when i did a search lastnight  :ashamed:

I THINK the best option would be Synology as Maria is not exactly great with computers or in fact technology. If it isn't plug and play she doesn't want to know.
