If Phil is seriously ill the last thing he will want to do is come on here and thank everyone especially as it involved cars as well.

If he doesn't come back, I am sure the money can either go back to the individuals at there request or be donated to a charity or the forum?

The 'Phil Miller' in the other forum is from Tavistock, Devon, and isn't shy about posting his mobile #. Appears to drive a black Mk5 TDI with GTI parts < Same as the member here.
