Internet Explorer issues with Windows 7 ??
« on: August 28, 2012, 04:57:06 pm »
Anyone else having problems. Mine keeps freezing and or not responding . Google Chrome works fine when there are issues with IE ? Use both 32 bit and 64 bit and no difference . Just like IE more than other browsers , any solution ?

Yeah I get the same freezes for a min then all works again,  sometimes things on the screen don't appear like them security number things, chrome works great no probs, old Asus PC 32 bit win 7 ie 9 , if Google incorperated there whole toolbar in chrome I'd never use ie

I use Google Chrome on my laptop after finding IE to be very glitchy on my Windows 7 64bit system. Takes some gettin used to at first but I like some of the features it has.

at work the main issue we get reported is IE not working. I always recommend Mozilla or chrome to all colleagues.

reset i.e, it disables all your toolbars + add ins.

tools --> internet options -> advanced --> reset --> tick the box

please read what it says its going to delete/disable as i wont be held responsible (this is the 1st ting i would do if you asked me to look at your machine btw so its nothing thats going to case harm)

I'm using IE9 and I'm having the freezing and not responding problems constantly.  I'll try a reset as described above.

EDIT.  Right reset done, let's see if it makes a difference.....
