ITG intake fitment help?
« on: September 09, 2012, 07:18:14 pm »
Bought an itg maxogen intake. Managed fit the system without any problems or instructions and considering I was not supplied with the whole kit it was much simpler than I thought it would be. I have how ever run into a small problem. I cant seem to remove the two lugs that the heat shield supplied with the kit fits to. Any help?

If thats the back of the engine then they have non-captive nuts on the back. Don't bother to refit them.

To turn the lugs either a socket, ring spanner or pipe/mole grips.

A Draper 38019 deep 24mm socket is what's needed...
Without traction power is nothing!

Is that the two lugs that the rubber comes off and fits into the itg bracket and then pushes over them to keep it in place?
