^^^ mine still look very gold and i've had them on over 6 months!

i still wouldn't paint them tho. if you want your specialist to have something pretty to look at have a naked lady painted on your undertrays

Yep, you can see them, the WALK is currently on my old car, which the ex is currently in, but she is letting me have them. It went on in April, and still bright gold. I saw Richn83 a couple of months ago in the old car and he said, "Ah I see you've got your WALK on" You can see them very clearly from the driver's seat of another car.

I don't wanty gold getting in with my colour scheme. (Black, Laser blue , red) I'm thinking either laser blue or red now.

Ha! Yes I'm thinking red, Red! But I'm toying with the body-colour as well. I may get a spray can of each colour and put one on each side to test both out, then bring it to a meet for opinions. You really can see them on the shadow blue. (She let me take it out for a quick hoon on wednesday, and you can tell the difference between hers and mine going hard round corners. With the WALK, it feels more composed with less roll. It's a great mod).

....OEM 'silver' is more of a dull dirty grey colour.

Won't the bright yellow WALK bushes stand out anyway?

Given the harsh environment in which the console bushes have to exist, unless you really well prepare the aluminium (ideally degrease and dry grit blast) I would imagine even the most robust of paints will start to detach quite quickly.

If you're dead set on changing the colour, I'd press the polyurethane out, get the aluminium stripped and anodised to a colour of your choice.
