Cast or steel wishbones
« on: September 01, 2012, 11:13:38 am »
I was speaking to a chap the other day who had changed his normal GTI wishbones to non gti cast wishbones as he said they were stronger.

Anyone know if this is true or that has done this?

I've read on here somewhere that the TT and Cupra wishbones are stronger and also give a wider track at the front. This may be the same thing that chap has done.

What about standard golf and golf plus cast wishbones compared to welded steel ones so it doesn't get widened track
