chrome / silver to Black / smoked xenon housing **RESOLVED**
« on: August 26, 2012, 12:07:52 pm »
Are there any guides on how to convert or paint the Xenon housing from chrome to Black/smoked?

Also wouldn't mind removing the orange part of the indicator too.
I've seen it done but not too sure how.

Like these (pic from r32oc)

Since genuine xenon are expensive I don't want to ruin them...

Edit: did another search and found this:

It seems that separating the lense on a xenon light it not as straight forward as just heating up the glue, so some cutting is required :-\

They do look good though...
