Well I've had my mk5 for just over 3 years now during which time its been faultless, never broken down, only routine servicing and no sign of any rust on the front wings.
So how do I reward my faithful car......?
That's right I trade it in for a younger model.

My head was turned by this lovely little red number a 3 door manual with cloth and sat nav, a little short on spec but 6500miles with the balance of the manufacturers warranty and at a good price twisted my arm. I originally was after a white car, but after looking at pictures of redrobin's great car and saint steve's amazing recently detailed red edition 30 decided that red should definately be a option! and I love the colour!
Not much to report so far, is the mk6 a mk5.5???
Yes and No
I think its all the best bits of the mk5 just slightly tweaked and repackaged in a newer shape, but at the end of day its each to their own and I will always have a huge soft spot for the mk5.
Gone but not forgotten.
