That is one nasty crash!  Would be interested to know what speed you have to be doing in order to split a 458 down the middle like that!

....I'm glad you apologised to me for saying that!

I won't try and claim that my reactions are faster than much younger drivers but I am very experienced and particularly in road sense and roadcraft. There will come a very sad day when I would be best advised to give up driving but that day hasn't arrived yet.

I can't understand why it hasn't just gone up into the air? It looks like that barrier has stopped it within a few metres...

63 isn't old?!

When I was mad on bikes the 'born again biker' was a big issue.

Kids left home, wife out shopping, 'I know I want to relive my yoof! Ill buy a Ducati 998 'R''.

Here is a true story, when I live in Sunny Slough I had a Kawasaki ZX6R, lovely bike, and my neighbour had a Ducati touring thing. In his infinite wisdom he decided to buy a Ducati 916 Senna. Again a lovely bike. I was cleaning mine and he was cleaning his, oo er misses, he finished and rode round to the garages to put it away. It suddenly went very quiet. Turns out he was going so slow that when he rode over a flat Coke can the front just washed out. 200 miles on the clock, £2500 later for a new fairing! He was a 'born again' trying to relive his yoof.

Anyway back to topic, very sad story and proves that if you do take somebody out or they take you out, don't drive like a twat and if they do tell them!

I would probably seen that Ferrari earlier in the day as there was a load of them lined up in a special parking area...
