They are factory but I think you should remove his number plate.

They don't look factory fitted to me Nath

The factory ones are slightly counter-sunk like these: -

The ones on the red Ed30 (first pic) look like the VW accessory/Cobra ones I recommended to you on another forum

the sunken ones are fitted from factory, ones that sit proud can be and are OEM VW items that are fitted after the factory, to the OP, theres marks on the back of the bumper showing where to put the OEM ones  :happy2:

Iv'e got a Audi A4 avant with sensors, IMHO they are a lot better looking than the golfs, they sit flush and are almost invisable. Since its all the VAG group could i have them fitted to my wifes GTI? (you do miss them when you've had them, maybe lazyness)

It may be that the different type pictured on Steve's car are dealer fit as opposed to Factory.

i've been offered a set fitted at a very competitive price
the guy who fits them, does it as a job and uses these £30 kit on hundreds of cars/ vans he installs them too.

what are the differences from these £30 kit he bulk buys to these cobra ones which i think are £100+
