Sooooo..... Whens the remap booked?  

Well since I've just took the step up from the 1.6 I'll be keeping it standard for a while, however I'm seriously tempted to just get it mapped trying to stay strong and keep it standard

Keep it standard as the difference from the 1.6 will be brilliant. Then when you get used to the power get it remapped so you can feel the difference again. That was my plan anyway. For me its time to remap but will wait till I change insurers.

But as you can tell this forum will have you emptying you bank account before you can say GTI

If you've come from a 1.6 its a big step, learn the car first and enjoy then look at remap etc. too many people make a big jump and put it in a ditch....
