Replacing transmission mounts. Front subframe.

Been waiting on my mech for a while replacing my front transmission mounts and fitting the insert too. According to him he needs a special tool to remove them and still hasn't got one!? From others past experience do u need a special tool and what's it called and where can i get it from?
