New member - Mk5 Gti - Scotland
« on: September 03, 2012, 01:39:16 pm »
Thought i'd say a quick hello to all..

Recently purchased my Mk5 Gti locally. Previous owner would have been on here but unsure of his username.

Will get some pics up in the near future. Few mods all by previous owner, looking to put my own mark on it soon..>

Currently:
Custom Code Re-map
Carbonio Intake
Miltek Cat-Back (resonated)
BBS reps
FK Sport+ coils
Leather re-trim.

Running excellently so far!
 :happy2:

Ahh, think ive spied your username on Eastside? Im 'turkish' on there.

Its Mark M/Boyners old golf... was looking for a mk5 and was speaking to boyner and it was too good to pass up! Wanted to do my own thing from scratch but figured i would need a collosal amount of cash, so this thing provides a perfect base to put my own touches on.

You still got a golf?

Aye, still got the golf. Waiting in for new wheels, was hoping to have them on by now.
Then it's springs/coilovers then I'll be happier with it.
Your cars got a fair mod sheet so far, like!

nice one, did you not have an ED30 before? Pretty sure i saw one with your plate on gumtree for sale a while back?

What wheels did you go for? Really want to change what im running at the moment, but the front end needs freshening up first, so that will have to take priority!

I used to have a GTI with the Ed30 front and rear valances before, aye. Had a few cars since but came back to a GTI in the end.
My old car was on Gumtree when I was selling, was on again not long ago - the folk I sold it to had it up and simply reused all my pics!
I ended up buying Gloss black Riva DTMs, with Vred Ultrac Sessantas.
Jist finished getting them all sealed ready to fire on in the morning.
I know the standard ride height is gonna kill me tho!
