Mk5 GTI stolen, what car to get next?

Have been considering the BMW 1 series & civic type r as alternatives that drive/handle well. Test drove a seat Leon fr diesel but steering felt a bit light, lacking feedback after gti. Would these cars be less targeted than a golf gti by criminals?

Was in the same situation as you back in 2010 so i know ohw it feels.

After my car was stolen it really put me off getting anything nice again. Eveyone i know with a GTi / R32 has either had it stolen or had an attempted break in. (Cops said it was more likely for the car).

The BMW 1 Series is even easier to pinch as they dont need the keys to do it.

Get another gti and a kalashnikov

Just get an octy vrs mk2. Same chassis, engine, gearbox, brakes etc. Basically a gti with a boot and a lot cheaper to buy.

Buy another, But keep a look-out for the thieving B4st*rds to try it again !
