« on: September 06, 2012, 02:19:35 pm »
Can anyone tell me what the button behind the driver's seat does? It's the one that is pretty much below the b pillar and above the rear driver sides footwell?

I believe it's to turn off the alarm from being trigged by movement inside the car?  For example if you left the dog in the car whilst you popped into the shop.
Silver GTI, Revo Stage 1, R32 rear bumper, R32 exhaust, R32 rear lights, ED30 front splitter, RCD510, Lowered on Eibachs, open fog grills.

It's a two part switch. Press either the top half or the bottom half of the button before you lock the car to choose whether you de-activate the interior movement sensor or de-activate the anti-tow sensor. Or press both parts if you want to de-activate both parts. Once you unlock the car again it's reset and you have to press the button again every time you want to use the function.  :happy2:
