Clicky indicator stalks
« on: September 03, 2012, 11:33:25 am »
This is going to be difficult to describe (hence search didn’t prove fruitful) – but my indicator stalk makes an cringing click and almost feels like it doesn’t want to move. Rather than a soft smooth ‘tick’.

Is this a common with the GTI/ Mk5? What’s the cure?

Is there any resistance when you move the stalk, like it's caught or sticking?

There does seem to be - been there since I bought the car. I expect there be a little but I'd be surprised this is how it was designed.
