Hey


All those awaiting on my wide arch kit project... you'll be pleased to know the kit has arrived  :party: :party: :jumping:


Its going into the bodyshop on Monday  :smiley:  ( should take about 2 weeks ) :sleepy:


I need one small help from you chaps - the wheel spaces

I guessing i'll need around 10- 15mil widening...  but i need some help with the specs of the nuts/bolts etc..


I'm gonna go to Batley to get the spaces... but obviously he'll need to know sizes of bolts i want etc... if that makes sense ? I've really no clue on this...


Can anyone help out here please ?

Ok - ill give wheelman a shout.

Well - with a wheels being anthracite.. my bodyshop man is debating with me to have the front grille, bonnet and roof grey the as the colour the wheels are ( anthracite )


On the other hand... when i've saved up some more...  i was thinking of selling the wheels on now and getting some Oettinger ones like before....


What do you think to the grey grille.. grey bonnet and roof  which match the wheels ??  -  its something different i guess than black...... im trying to picture it... will it look right do you think ?

Your thoughts would really help me  !!!!

If it was me Rich i would get the bonnet and roof done in Vinyl the grey you want it sounds like a good idea but could be a expensive fix if it doesn't look right, i think a Mat anthracite would look the shizzle.  8)

As for the bolts and spacers you really need to take your time and plan it properly. I would get the kit on first then you can work out exactly what spacers and bolts would be the best. It might look daft for a few days while you then wait for the sapcers and bolts but it would give the best results in the long run.  :drinking:

Yupp - thats what we're doing with the spacers  :smiley:

Gonna wait till its on.. then see what spacers ill need  ( ive given wheel man en email  :wink: )


Yup - i can picture anthracite grey same colour as my wheels the shizzle :love:


Mark ( bodyshop ) knows what he's doing and he was the one thats mentioned it... he said it would look reallly nice  :party:


Zaa omg - i cant wait now  :jumping:


I'm gnna have the rear badge done metalic red in the middle and the outer core in anthracite grey too - i think that would nicely match it  :smiley:

Rich remember at the meet, i mentioned seeing some wheels similar to the Ottinger ones done in a dark anthracite. well i found one of the pics.  8)

Everyone in an agreement here that an anthracite front grille with bonnet and roof would look well matched with anthracite wheels ??
