This is the nearest camp-site to Stafford (venue of first mega-meet) which allows tents, fires and bbq's.

Also, the ground looks pretty flat from the pictures, for you guys who are sitting low!

Do you want to PM the Mods? They might be able to advise.

I'll sort the camp site. I'm going to ring them tomorrow and see if they'll allow us to pre-book a large area, and to see how even the ground is.

As just discussed on the phone, someone needs to check out that the location in Stafford where we took the photos in the original mega-meet is still accessible. Also, we may have quite a few more cars this time as the forum has grown so much since then.

Ben is onto it Robin. He's getting the full details of the venue, so we can then ask if anyone is local so  we can get it checked out. Do we need to find a pub for lunch before going onto meet venue, then convoy to the campsite for BBQ & tent erecting!?

I have sent both SteveP and TC a PM to try and shed some light on the location of the original mega meet.

Robin- i have a memory of a photo possibly from the original mega meet next to a building that has superchips written on the side. Am i correct or am i going down the wrong track thinking it could help us find the location.
