Majorca car hire
«

I'm off to Majorca (Mallorca?) on Saturday. Just wondered if anyone who's been can recommend a decent car and/or motorbike hire places?
Looks like there are a few wicked mountain passes.
Cheers PJ

Cheers Benjii. I think everyone books online nowadays. Don't really know why I bothered with this post!

Don't book through goldcar! They charged me a fortune for fuel and forced me to take extra insurance when I went to pick the car up in Malaga! They charge €40 for the pleasure of fuelling the car up for you too
They also had the longest q when picking up the car while all the other hire companies people just walked straight up to pick up there cars
By the time the fuel and insurance was added on I would of been cheaper with some of the big companies and a lot less hassle

^^^ Cheers for that. I've pre-booked a Smart for €82 for 5 days. Not bad
and I've never driven a Smart so looking forward to it.

Who did you go with in the end? I live in Palma de Mallorca and regularly use carhire3000, no major problems so far!
Where are you staying on the island? I can recommend a few places near here that are worth a visit!

RecordGO! is the rental crowd, although it's only a provisional booking so can change easily.
Staying in Soller. First time in Mallorca so a few pointers would be much appreciated, thanks!
