I ordered a 32gb White iPhone 5 at bang on 8am via the Apple Store App. Was a painless and easy transaction. While everyone on Macrumors was complaining about not being able to get on the Store via the website.

It depends how you do it. Yeh its a fair whack, but its going to be worth £400 in a year.

This time last year I bought a 4S, it got it for about £550. (32gb model) I sold it last week for £450. It cost me what... £8/month to have the latest iphone? Then a sim only tarrif... so if you do it smart, you can have the latest iphone and save some cash too.

Total cost of ownership is always cheaper if you purchase the phone outright and run a SIM only contract, as opposed to paying big money on a 24 month contract.

I spent £600 on a 32gb phone. But the cost is offset, as ive advertised my 16gb 4S for £320 inc special delivery. I dont have kids and enjoy my gadgets.

They just need to stop dressing 3 year olds in Gucci that they grow out of in 2 months!

I'd quite like one, but then I look at my 4S and think, do I really need one? Nah, it'll wait a while longer.
Sideways yo!

Three seem to be the only network that are actually on the ball with nano sims.
