Any recommendations as to where to buy a new RCD510 from ? After good delivery, price and someone who deserves the custom.  Stealer or online purchase ?

From here ( they pop up fairly regularly) or on eBay. Don't want to think how much the main dealers will want but it will probably involve you cutting of a nut to pay for it. Why not get an RNS510 led version, thnk they are up to H. Eddie-NL is the man to speak to, sells great systems from time to time at less than dealer prices.

Spoke to Ed about the RNS and RCD he can't get the RCD510 at a competitive price.  Not too fussed with sat nav and a hard drive so thought I'd save a few quid and get RCD unless someone persuades me I really need one in my life.

Wanted a warranty etc and was really after someone who could supply for a competitive price offer decent warranty and after sales service, if required.

I got a Rcd from eBay for £209 and you can buy a warranty through eBay now

I don't need the sat nav so opted for the Rcd and with a 32gb sd card I have plenty of room for mp3s
