Need to replace my Xenon bulbs - they are the D2s ones........after searching the best price(s) I've found are £90.00 each.

Found these on eBay - can anyone tell me, WHY they are so CHEAP? surely they must be really pool quality?

i think they are cheap because they are probably "made in china" crap. "Pay cheap, pay twice" springs to mind. For something  like a xenon bulb, only a decent brand replacement will do.

On my mk4, i needed replacement xenon bulbs (cant remember if the bulbs are the same as the mk5) and managed to pick up genuine philips xenon bulbs for around £40 each brand new on german ebay.  Perhaps woth a try?

For the girlfriends eos i picked up a set off gumtree! Bit worried but they came the next day and have been working fine ever since :) think they are still being sold on there, £38!
