Monza 18" Shadows
« on: September 15, 2012, 02:03:18 pm »
Some thieving tw4t has snaffled all 4 of my VW centre caps.  It could be worse I suppose, at least the car was not on bricks!

Does anyone know the part number and how much replacements will be?

Thanks

^^^^ tossers. My brother had his BBS caps nicked few years back, now that was expensive!!

Cost me £28 couple of months ago for a new shiney set of centre caps. Pretty sure the code your after (for Monza's) is 3B7601171XRW. Will have a gander on ETKA later and let you know if I'm wrong.

Bad news!! I thought the centre caps should only really be removed with the wheels of the car otherwise you risk damaging the laquer on the wheels by prising the cap out and inviting the dreaded white worm in!

Martin is bang on with the part number, found this link on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-VW-Alloy-Wheel-Centre-Caps-NEW-Later-Style-/350542673655?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET&hash=item519df8b6f7 £26.06 delivered

Just don't buy any from hong kong because there usually shocking

Thanks gents.  I had a quick look on eBay and found silverwagon have them.

Wonder how long the replacements will last!
