too right i cant!!

i used to be big into modding cars.. but fell out of love with it when my GTiR rooked me silly... but now i'm collating a list of things i want to do.. lol

First on is fitting a RCD510 (mate from work has one from his sirocco going cheap) then looking at getting the rear valance and skirts painted/replaced with CW items...

then i might look at freeing up some ponies with a filter and exhaust and possibly a stage 1 map.. but ssshhhh.. the other halfs not to know.. she'd no be happy! lol

^^^^ get it mapped straight away and you good lady will be none the wiser............... and you will be saying "yes dear, these cars are always this powerful, honest"

On the way home from picking it up would be the best time IMHO.

Welcome from a fellow CW Owner :happy2:

Just make sure you don't boot it on the way home, that way when it's mapped she won't know the difference

I did this on my MK4 1.8T 6 years back, bought it and drove home steadily as my (now EX GF) came with me (we were "Saving" for a house at the time, Altho her shoe cupboard seemed to expand!), 2 days later it was "in for a service" and lo an behold it got mapped and she never knew the difference (She only drove it 3 times anyway as she was a crap driver tbh!)
