new member red gti mb alphards

heres a pic after putting on my new mb alphards

indigo boost gauge

parada 2 yokohama tyres 215 40 18 215 35 18
18"alloys 8.5 front 9.5 rear (camber adjust)

 just got married 1 year later  vw was supposed to be daily  car lol

looks great mate  :happy2:... why are u running different tyres tho 215 40's and 215 35's? seems a bit weird or is that just me? so it sits lower at the front ?

the rears are 9.5 "wide so u need wider tyres for rear (tyre stretch)and thinner ones for front so dont rub .had bigger tyres before didnt rub too much but looked fat

im sure my pals did not rub and he was running 215 40 back 205 40 front without having 2 diffrent sized tyres on the car ... anyways , looks superb  :happy2:

It's personal preference I just prefer thinner tyre up front , some people like big fat tyre wall ?

thanks guys ,thats scary i was just looking at your black oem+ gti looking good ,i was close to getting a black one but condition wasnt very good!. normally look at golfmkv site but all u get is abuse, the americans seem to only like lower cars .(if only they knew the pot holes in uk ).so far impressed with everyones mk5 tastefully modified:)
