The sat nav, maps and HDD seems to only work when it wants too. Most of the time HDD is not lit up and the sat nav says insert DVD disc. Guessing I may need to update it?

Im not sure but i doubt an update will sort out the rns issues. Sounds like a hardware problem! I will probably be wrong though

Soory, can't help with the hardware prob but just wondered whether the unit is a straight swap for the original i.e. does it fit directly into the vacated space and plug directly into the existing wiring or are there any mods to do first?? Thinking of getting one when the funds allow!!

Mine was just plug and play. I would change the firmware and see if that sorts it first or put a post up in the sat nav area and see what others say

Got the 5 back from the garage all repaired so treated it to some new cleaning products and gave it a good clean!

Snowfoamed

Then Glazed and Waxed :) Shiney!

I used Clearkote Red Moose Glaze and Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax really easy to use aswell and i think the results are great!

Spent a fair bit in the past few months so heres an update of what ive done.

Replaced the RNS510 for a Dynavin running android.

Milltek Non Res Cat Back system went on next.

My Friend took a few photos for his portfolio.

Then see this Milltek 3" downpipe and sports cat forsale on this forum for a bargain price to grabbed it quick and its now fitted aswell.

Bought a Neuspeed P-flo kit aswell to go with the milltek full system.

Just got to modify the engine cover so it can go back on now.

Car sounds really nice now and is pretty much ready for Stage 2 mapping :)
