Diconnecting battery and remap

Saw a comment elsewhere on the forum that mentioned if you disconnect the battery the remap goes? That is incorrect I hope.
Any comments?

Really? I have flash revo map on my 1.9tdi that was done at jkm , that seems a bit stupid if it is true

The map doesn't go it just reverts to stock values if the battery is disconnected.
If you have an SPS switch you can turn it back on, if not a visit to your local Revo dealer will be necessary.

Well I think mine 'may' be mapped, but no idea whodunnit. I'll have to be careful.

i spoke to revo and JKM they both said it doesnt affect a diesel but you will lose the map on "some petrol models"

You won't lose the map, it will just revert to stock Revo settings.
