Auto Finesse - Satin Tyre Dressing
« on: September 10, 2012, 10:24:43 am »
Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone had tried the Auto Finesse Satin Tyre Dressing? I'm getting a little tired of the super gloss look that CG New Look Trim Gel gives and I've been impressed with how easy AF stuff is to apply in general, so thought I'd give it a go.

Anyone used it?

It's ok but didn't seem to last too well.

Megs Endurance is hard to beat, but if your not keen on it looking too slick have a look at Swissvax Pneu.  :happy2:

Cool, thanks mate. Durability is pretty important so I want something that lasts. In that respect I was pretty disappointed with Revive. Looks bloody great when first applied, but lasts no time at all.

I use Megs endurance or Blackfire dressing both really good.

Aren't those both glossy though? I'm after more of a natural satin look...

My bad.
I'd say megs is more glossy than the Blackfire. Depends on the amount of product you use too I suppose.

Andrew if you didn't get on with AF Revive on the black plastic bits, why don't you try it on the tyres - I don't like tyre dressings at all, just remind me of dodgy car dealers

However I did put some Revive on my winters tyres last year and it gave a nice dull new look - no bling for me :innocent:

I got rid of my autofinesse satin and gloss. They gave a nice look for maybe a dayat most the disintegrated.
My favourite at the minute  of the month is gtechniq T1, nice finish, only use a tiny amount, and lasts well  :happy2:
